E-hotel reservation
Reservations
1. All rates are quoted per room per night and can only be obtained by booking through the ISTA2008 Congress Secretariat.
2. Government Tax(10%) and Service Charge(10%) will be added to the above room rates. Only for overseas participants will be exempted Government Tax( 10%), but the rates are subjuect to Service Charge(10%).
3. All hotel charges should be settled when checking out onsite.
4. For rooms required before or after the Meeting dates, early booking is essential.
5. Hotel assignment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations made after August 31, 2008 will be subject to space availability.
6. The confirmation wil be sent to you with in 48 hours by the secretariat. Prompt booking is very important to guarantee your room.
Deposits
The reservation should be made through the official housing bureau, Meci Tour Inc. In order to guarantee the booking, a valid credit card information is necessary in advance. However, for the 4 hotels, Hotel Shilla Seoul, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, IBIS Myeong-dong and the Uljiro CO-OP Residence, the room charge should be made directly to the Hotel upon check-out. Only for the Hyundai Residence, room only charge will be made by official housing bureau and the relevant receipt will be issued under the name of MECI Tour Inc. by e-mail or fax upon individual request AFTER the congress due to administrative reason.
Cancellations
No accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after September 14, 2008.
Change of Booking
Any change in booking must be made in writing to the official housing bureau and NOT directly to the hotel. Changes made after September 14, 2008 cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to availability.
Check-in and Check-out
Standard check-in time of 2.00pm and check-out time of 11.00am applies to all hotels. Please note that requests for early and late check-in must be made in writing to the official housing bureau at ista@mecitour.com in advance.
